And the wait is on.....

Well, summer is in full swing and we are busy and having fun. We had a few days in South Haven with the Deslippe family this week. It was a great time. We will go to Missouri for a week or so in mid-July to see the Neals. I have pangs of wishing that our baby was with us. Our families have so much love and affection to give and there are little kids everywhere. I can't wait to have our little girl in the mix. At the same time, there are so many people that begin this journey after years of infertility and then are faced with the wait. We are so blessed with our two children and so many neices and nephews to love on in the mean time!

Our agency's waiting child list came out on June 5th. Dan and I spent several days praying and fasting that the Lord would lead us in deciding whether our child was on that list. We requested medical information for one child but the Lord was clearly leading in another direction. It was an emotional couple of days. There is a feeling of "shopping" for a baby. As a person who loves kids, it certainly tugs on my heart strings to see these precious babies who need families to love them. We feel at peace that the Lord unite us with our child.
