Fingerprinting Done

Well, we went to have our fingerprints done on Wednesday. It was pretty uneventful, a few colorful people there, but nothing remarkable. Dan's printing went very quickly, mine was a little slower as the guy doing my prints was very caught up in talking about McDonald's and the transmission in his car. Hopefully, it will be processed ok and we are praying for quick turn around. We are waiting for a form to be sent to us - the 171H. We have to take it and all of the other papers (dossier) to get the state seal - at the secretary of states office downtown and then to the Chicago Consulate and then we are DTC!! The waiting officially begins then. We would be doing really well if we were DTC by the end of March, but mid-April is probably more realistic. We are praying for speedy processing!!!
