More with the waiting....
Our letter of intent has been in China for:
76 days or
6,566,400 seconds or
109,440 minutes or
1824 hours
I guess it doesn't seem like very long when you look at it like that. We just got an update from our agency case worker that our paperwork is in Department One - this is how she described it to me:
Your dossier will be reviewed 1st; after the reviewing, it will be sent to Department No. 2 and goes to the SN Director. She will need to check your file status in the computer to make sure that everything that is supposed to be “Checked” checked; if not, it stays on her desk till all are checked; then it will be sent to the “big” Director for final signature; hopefully, this person will not be out of town or unavailable; after the signature is obtained, it goes to back to the administration office (where they log you in, in the very beginning) to print out your TA; then your TA gets to be mailed; then, about 3-4 days later, I will call to hear your happy screaming; then, you will be VERY busy for a while; then, in about a month from TA, you go to China to get her!!!! Then, you live happily ever after…; then, I get updated pictures of your happiness; then, I will leave you alone…
I am 99.99% sure that she means that I will leave her alone after that. A few weeks ago she suggested that I play computer games (unspoken...and stop calling me). She really has been very patient with me.
That's it...just waiting.
